A home appliance, a mobile device, and a home appliance control system are disclosed. The purpose of the present invention is to acquire state information of a home appliance through communication between the home appliance and a mobile device and control the home appliance based on the state information, and to enable the mobile device to, when the home appliance provides information on an event and a control stage of the home appliance to the mobile device, automatically display a user interface for an application based on the provided information on the event and the control stage, thereby improving user convenience by omitting a process in which a user finds and executes an application related to the home appliance and a process for navigating a control menu in the executed application. To this end, a home appliance according to the present invention includes: a communication unit to communicate with a mobile device; an event detection unit to detect whether an event occurs; and a home appliance control unit to, when an event occurs, search for a control stage involved in the event from a past control history and transmit information on the event and information in the control stage involved in the event to the mobile device through the communication unit, thereby enabling the mobile device to display a notification icon to notify the occurrence of the event and guide to the control stage involved in the event. |
