<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The jaw (50) has an insertion zone intended to make contact with a tightening element, and a stacking part (62) stacking a set of distinct plates (60), where a wafer (68) of each plate includes a toothed portion (76). The toothed portions are arranged to reconstitute the insertion zone of the jaw. The plate is provided with a fastener (80) including a clamp hole (81). The clamp hole is aligned with another clamp hole to form a passage housing (82) traversing the stacking part directly through and adapted to receive a retainer pin (86) i.e. bolt. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Clamping jaw for use in a clamping device of a drilling rod or a drilling tube of a drilling machine to allow connection of the rod or the tube prior to introduction into ground. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The toothed portions are arranged to reconstitute the insertion zone of the jaw by simple cutting, thus reducing manufacturing costs, and hence simplifying use of the zone in the jaw without any particular process. The design of the insertion zone ensures realization of the jaw in an easy manner with reduced costs while making the insertion zone to perfectly adapt with dimensions of the tightening element. The structure of the jaw allows simple removal deteriorated tooth in the toothed portions, thus limiting maintenance costs.
