PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of suppressing variation of an initial exhaust temperature due to an outside air temperature.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device includes an oxidation catalyst 18 and a filter 19 disposed in an exhaust passage 5 of an engine 1, an exhaust throttle valve 6 changing an opening of the exhaust passage 5, and a control device (ECU 50) constituted to control the exhaust throttle valve 6. When regeneration of the filter 18 is requested, the opening of the exhaust passage 5 is gradually reduced in accordance with lowering of an intake temperature. The opening of the exhaust passage 5 is variably controlled even when either an idle operation or a non-idle operation is executed when the regeneration of the filter 19 is requested. |
