PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which backlash at the tip of a terminal fitting, housed in a housing, in a direction orthogonal to the insertion direction can be suppressed without complicating or up-sizing the terminal fitting, while furthermore continuity inspection of the terminal fitting is facilitated, and the risk of damaging the interior of the terminal body due to the continuity inspection is eliminated.SOLUTION: A terminal fitting 10 to be housed in the terminal housing hole 211 of a housing 20 is provided, in the peripheral edge at the front end of a terminal body 11 of substantially square cylinder, with a rattling stop protrusion 18 protruding in the insertion direction of the terminal fitting 10. In the front end wall 212 of the housing 20 against which the peripheral edge at the front end of a terminal body 11 abuts, a terminal engaging hole 215 into which the rattling stop protrusion 18 can be fitted, and regulating movement of the terminal fitting 10 in a direction orthogonal to the insertion direction thereof, by fitting of the rattling stop protrusion 18, is formed through. |
