PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus, a construction, an endoscope, a catheter and a method adapted to transmit at least one electromagnetic radiation.SOLUTION: Electromagnetic radiation is split among a plurality of beams intended to irradiate a biological sample by utilizing a specially configured waveguide device, and inherent related characteristic can be imparted to the beams respectively. The beams may irradiate the biological sample in individual places, and the inherent related characteristic may be imparted to the beams respectively. Further a controller can be configured to control at least one of the fibers and the input to the fiber so that the individual related characteristic of the beam transmitted along the fiber is changed to thereby change the characteristic of the individual place on the sample.
