PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aggregate media from a plurality of media devices over a wide area network.SOLUTION: A system for delivering media includes a wide area network (WAN), a media player connected with the WAN in a first home, and a media server connected with the WAN in a second home and supplying media. In order to receive a request for media from the media player, and to establish a connection between the first home and second home over the WAN, a service is connected with the WAN. The media is passed from the first home to the second home while traversing the WAN. The system can include a storage device connected with the media player, and the media is transferred while traversing the WAN so as to be stored in the storage device. |
