PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hearing instrument capable of authenticating a transmitter of a broadcasted message.SOLUTION: A new hearing instrument comprises a receiver 44 receiving a broadcasted message, and an authenticator 54 configured to authenticate a transmitter of the broadcasted message. The new hearing instrument is configured to convert the broadcasted message into an acoustic signal to be transmitted to an eardrum of a user of the new hearing instrument upon successful authentication of the transmitter of the broadcasted message. |
