<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair capable of improving seating stability of a seat body by reliably retaining lateral parts of the buttocks of a seating person when the seating person seats thereon, while preventing removal of a seat plate from a seat receiving member.SOLUTION: A seat receiving member 5 includes outward flanges 29 supporting left/right lateral edge parts of a seat plate 13 while regulating the vertical displacement. The seat plate 13 includes engagement grooves 19 supported by the outward flanges 29, at the left/right lateral edge parts. Warpage permission parts 40 in which warping deformation of the lateral edge parts is permitted, and the upward deformation thereof is not restricted by the seat receiving member 5, are provided at rearward areas of engagement parts between engagement grooves 19 of the respective left/right lateral edge parts of the seat plate 13 and the outward flanges 29.</p> |
