Said device is characterised in that the entrance to the furnace (4) is provided with a rotating door (14) which is leak-tight and which rotates in relation to a cooled shaft (15), said rotating door (14) having a cylindrical cross-section with a cut-out angular sector (16) designed to receive the billet (6) to be loaded into the furnace. |
