A hollow sleeper (114) has a plate (124) releasably secured by bolts (126) to each open end of the sleeper. Cables (110) run through the hollow sleeper and are attached to connectors (128) located in an openings in the plates (124). Further cables (124) can be plugged into each connector (128). Alternatively, curved plates may be fitted and may be retrofitted. |
