PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide unique methods, devices and systems to control pests and/or monitor pest activity.SOLUTION: A pest control device system 20 includes a plurality of pest control devices 40 and a data collector 32. The system 20 may further include the data collector 32 in the form of a gateway 33 that is connected to a data management server 120 via a computer network 24 along with other gateways 33 in corresponding pest control device groups 30. Each pest control device 40 includes a pest sensor 46 and a wireless communication circuit to transmit information from the corresponding sensor 46. The devices 40 also configure to define a local wireless communication network 36 that can relay the information ultimately to the data collector 32. |
