PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To categorize friends into a first type and a second type so that a user exchanges chat messages with the first type of friends and receives chat messages from the second type of friends in a unilateral way.SOLUTION: An operation method of a mobile terminal for an instant messaging service includes the steps of: storing a list of multiple friends having at least one of a first type and a second type; receiving a chat message from a message server via a radio communication network; determining which type the type of a transmitter of the received chat massage is, the first type or the second type; deciding whether or not a user input window should be displayed on a chat window displaying the chat message depending on the transmitter type of the received chat message; and selectively displaying the user input window on the chat window on the basis of the decision. |
