The electronic control unit performs the following functions together with the GPS antenna, the accelerator encoder and the third brake light, namely: Activation of the third brake light so that said light to flashes when the vehicle is travelling below the minimum speed limit on a dual-carriageway or motorway; activation of the third brake light by the accelerator encoder 0.5 seconds before the brake pedal is pressed; and activation of the third brake light in response to a sudden reduction in speed. |
