The present invention provides a photo-voltaic power generation battery system capable of regulating an amount of power generated from a solar power array by regulating voltage across output nodes of a solar cell array using a comparison result of current and voltage constituting power output from a solar power regulator and a method of regulating an amount of generation power, capable of regulating the amount of generation power using the photo-voltaic power generation battery system. In order to accomplish the technical object, the photo-voltaic power generation battery system according to the present invention includes: the solar cell array having a plurality of solar cells arranged therein to covert solar light into electrical energy; and the solar power regulator to transmit energy output from the solar cell array to the battery. The method of regulating the amount of the generation power includes a first voltage-current comparison step, a second voltage-current comparison step, and an operating region regulating step.
