A hot line work for power distribution equipment is disclosed. The hot line work method for the power distribution equipment of the present invention comprises the following steps: installing a new electric pole on the path of wires formed between old electric poles; fixing an auxiliary arm on the new electric pole; fastening the wires to wire holders installed on the auxiliary arm; arranging the wires above a position where a pin cross arm will be installed; installing the pin cross arm on the new electric pole; moving the auxiliary cross arm or the wire holders downwards toward the pin cross arm; and transferring the wires connected to the wire holders to the pin cross arm. |
