PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-component developer for electrostatic latent image development with high durability that can prevent the fluctuation of the charge amount of toner associated with the fluctuation of temperature and humidity environment, particularly fogging and scattering of toner associated with a reduction in the charge amount in a high-temperature and high-humidity environment, and can stably provide high-quality images without the occurrence of the edge effect; and to provide an electrophotographic image forming method using the two-component developer for electrostatic latent image development.SOLUTION: A two-component developer for electrostatic latent image development of the present invention contains toner particles, and carrier particles in which the surface of carrier core material particles is coated with a coating resin, where the coating resin contains a resin having a polar group and obtained by polymerizing an isobutyl methacrylate monomer, and carbon black. |
