<p>In order to prevent a system from being complicated and prevent a software fault in the system from occurring even if the number of sites to be monitored increases, a communication confirmation device connected to one or more segments via a computer bus network confirms, regarding at least one segment included in the one or more segments, whether or not one or more operation nodes included in the segment and the communication confirmation device are communicable and whether or not a communication between a downstream bridge provided in the segment including the operation node and an upstream bridge provided in the communication confirmation device is established, using a communication confirmation packet the transmission destination of which is the operation node, a communication confirmation response packet which is a response packet to the communication confirmation packet, and a packet for transmitting and receiving, between the bridges, whether or not the communication between the upstream bridge provided in the communication confirmation device and the downstream bridge provided in the segment including the operation node is established.</p> |
