PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for producing a molded article which can save manpower in a production process of a molded article.SOLUTION: A device 100 for producing a molded article includes: a mold 110 which is formed with a cavity 26 and a transfer part 20 communicating with the cavity 26 and transferring molten resin and/or rubber-like elastic body into the cavity 26; and a surplus part-separating part 31 which holds a surplus part 55 formed in the transfer part 20 and separates the surplus part 55 from on the mold 110. The mold 110 has a lower mold 14 (a side mold 14P and a bottom mold 14Q) which supports a molded article 56 formed in the cavity 26 on the mold 110 when the surplus part 55 is separated from on the mold 110 by the surplus part-separating part 31.
