PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing catalyst ink which enables the enhancement of a fuel battery performance.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing catalyst ink comprises the steps of (a) preparing a mixed solution by addition of components including conductive base particles supporting catalyst, a polyelectrolyte, and a dispersion solvent containing a carboxylic acid, and (b) forming the catalyst ink by dispersing the components of the solution. The carboxylic acid in the step (a) accounts for 20-60% to the total volume of the components by volume percentage in the condition before the addition of the components. |
