<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device capable of preventing a plurality of switches from being turned on simultaneously when switching drive signals.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device comprises: a piezoelectric element 417 capable of executing an operation for discharging ink; a drive signal generation part for generating a first drive signal COM_A and a second drive signal COM_B; a first switch 86A for controlling application of the first drive signal COM_A to the piezoelectric element 417; a second switch 86B for controlling application of the second drive signal COM_B to the piezoelectric element 417; and a controller (a prevention circuit 85) which brings both the first switch 86A and the second switch 86B into off-states when switching the drive signals applied to the piezoelectric element 417 to the second drive signal COM_B from the first drive signal COM_A.</p> |
