<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to make selection as to whether to individually encrypt a plurality of pieces personal information included in image data.SOLUTION: A personal information protection apparatus 1 protecting a plurality of pieces of personal information included in image data, comprises: an image processing unit 21 dividing the image data into regions including the personal information, respectively; a protection pattern request unit (screen data generation unit 22) causing a user to enter selection of a protection pattern as to whether to encrypt personal information region data (divided image data, OCR data) related to the divided image data; and a personal information processing unit (registration processing unit 24) encrypting the personal information region data if the enter of selection is the protection pattern for encrypting.</p> |
