摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier which has a simple configuration and whose axial direction dimension is short, to increase speed, and to miniaturize by shortening axial direction length of the entire device.SOLUTION: A planetary roller type friction transmission device includes: a rotary shaft 3 oppositely arranged concentrically with a sun shaft 2; first and second planetary rollers 4, 5 in rolling contact with a same-diameter outer peripheral surfaces 2a, 2b of the sun shaft, juxtaposed in an axial direction and having different outer diameters from each other; a fixed wheel 6 where the first planetary roller inscribes and rolls; a differential wheel 7 where the second planetary roller inscribes and rolls, and which is integrated with the rotary shaft coaxially; and a carrier 30 for integrally holding the first and second planetary rollers. At the sun shaft, annular projection parts 2c, 2d, 2e are provided for restricting movement of the first and second planetary rollers in the axial direction. Furthermore, at the carrier, first and second pockets 31, 32 are connected and provided in which the first and second planetary rollers are made to slide and rotate to be held in the circumferential and radial direction, and which have openings in the inner and outer diameter directions. The outer diameter of the carrier is made to be smaller than the inner diameters of the fixing wheel and the differential wheel.</p>
