<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet apparatus for printing an organic layer of an organic EL display at low costs.SOLUTION: An ink jet apparatus includes a plurality of discharge nozzles discharging an ink, a channel formation substrate which demarcates a pressure generation chamber communicating with the discharge nozzles, a piezoelectric element which is provided in a region corresponding to the pressure generation chamber of the channel formation substrate, wiring for controlling the piezoelectric element and a vibration plate which is provided at a position separating the pressure generation chamber from the piezoelectric element. In the vibration plate, a pin hole penetrating the vibration plate is formed, and an insulation protective layer resistant to the ink is provided at the position of the pin hole on the surface of piezoelectric element side.</p> |
