<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method which improve production efficiency of a molding by automatization of detection of a starting edge part and an end edge part of a sheet.SOLUTION: A molding apparatus 1 executes carrying molding processing so as to synchronize with a shot ST1 of a continuous sheet SH1 and includes a molding portion U1 which molds a sheet in every shot, carrier means U2 of carrying a sheet in a specified carrying direction passing through the molding portion, a sheet detection portion U3 of detecting a sheet at an upstream position P1 in the direction for carrying from the molding portion U1 and control means of starting carrying molding processing after carrying the starting edge part from the upstream position P1 in the carrying direction when the starting edge part of the sheet is detected in the sheet detection portion. When the end edge part of the sheet is detected in the sheet detection portion, the control means stops molding of the sheet after the end edge part is carried from the upstream position in the carrying direction or carries the sheet at a slower carrying speed during the standby time after the end edge part is carried from the upstream position in the carrying direction at a carrying speed during molding.</p> |
