<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent substrate which has excellent wiping properties to fingerprints, or fingerprint resistance, and excellent antibacterial properties.SOLUTION: A fingerprint resistant transparent substrate having antibacterial properties includes an antibacterial layer on a transparent substrate and a film, on the antibacterial layer, which is a fingerprint-resistant film (A) containing a perfluoroether-containing silane compound and has a haze of 10% or smaller, by JIS K7105(1981). A method of producing a fingerprint-resistant transparent substrate having antibacterial properties includes a step of applying a coating liquid containing 0.001-50 mass% of a perfluoroether-containing silane compound to the surface of the antibacterial layer, a step of heating the transparent substrate after application of the coating liquid at 50-250°C to form the fingerprint-resistant film (A) and a step of removing the residual coating liquid adhered to the transparent substrate.</p> |
