<p>The invention relates to an irrigation unit based on subsurface wetting and absorption, comprising a control system. The unit is suitable for the individual irrigation of soil (4) in a pot (3) or for portions of gardens, vegetable patches or plantations. Said unit comprises at least an absorption receptacle (5) and an inlet receptacle (6) connected to one another, in the form of connected containers, by a duct (7), the absorption receptacle (5) being below the soil (4) and the inlet receptacle (6) being provided with a control valve (9) in order to control the water level (11) in both receptacles (5, 6). In one embodiment of the invention, both the absorption (5) and inlet (6) receptacles are built into a single container (2). In another embodiment, the absorption (5) and inlet (6) receptacles are independent elements, in which the absorption receptacle (5) is below the soil (4) and the inlet receptacle (6) can move vertically.</p> |
