<p>According to the present invention, a control method of an air conditioner with a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, an expansion valve, and an indoor unit is capable of identifying an indoor load and an outdoor load by detecting indoor temperatures and outdoor temperatures when an operation command is input, is capable of determining the operation frequency of the compressor and the opening degree of the expansion valve based on the identified indoor and outdoor loads, is capable of supplying a refrigerant to an indoor heat exchanger by driving the compressor at the determined operation frequency and opening the expansion valve at the determined opening degree, and is capable of controlling the RPMs of multiple indoor fans respectively based on the operation frequency of the compressor and the opening degree of the expansion valve, wherein the indoor heat exchanger has a first cooling panel and a second cooling panel arranged to be parallel to each other. According to the present invention, the control method of the air conditioner is capable of controlling the RPMs of the indoor fans respectively in consideration of the indoor and the outdoor loads and the amount of the refrigerant, thereby equalizing the temperature of air discharged from outlets on the upper, middle, and lower sides of the indoor unit according to the amounts of the loads or the amount of the refrigerant in the case of a maximum load operation or a minimum load operation. Thus, the control method of the air conditioner is capable of equalizing the temperature of the air discharged from the outlets, thereby improving user comfort and user satisfaction.</p> |
