A liquid crystal display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a first data line supplying a first data voltage; a second data line which supplies a voltage having the opposite polarity of the first data voltage; a first gate line and a second gate line supplying a first gate signal and a second gate signal to pixel areas; a first pixel voltage application unit which amplifies the first data voltage and supplies the amplified first voltage to an end of a liquid crystal capacitor in response to the first and second gate signals; and a second pixel voltage application unit which amplifies the second data voltage and supplies the amplified second voltage to the other end of a liquid crystal capacitor in response to the first and second gate signals.
