PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generating set capable of rapidly suppressing an excessive rise in the rotational speed of a generator and preventing an excessive increase in an output of the generating set.SOLUTION: The power generating set includes: an evaporator (10), an expander (12), a generator (14), a condenser (16), a pump (18), a frequency converter (30) connected with the generator (14), and a control section (40) for controlling the frequency converter (30). The frequency converter (30) includes a converter section (32) and an inverter section (34). The control section (40) includes an output detection section (42) that detects an output and a signal generation section (44) that generates an instruction signal for instructing switching of on-off operations of a switching section of the converter section (32). The signal generation section (44) lowers a frequency of the instruction signal when a detection value of the output detection section (42) is at least a predetermined value. |
