PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locker device and a control method thereof capable of opening a door of a locker quickly which was forcibly locked by a forcible locking mode without requiring a manager to move to an installation place of the locker device when a user who uses the locker in a non-paid manner contacts to a management office after the manager locks the door of the locker which is used in a non-paid manner forcibly by the forcible locking mode.SOLUTION: A control part 60 controls a door 12 of a locker 10 specified by a specific operator (for example, a manager) by a forcible locking mode to be in a closed state, and makes a medium issue part (for example, a printer 38) issue a medium for holding information about a key number (for example, a forcible locking form).
