<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translation system suitable for reducing memory capacity to be used and processing load.SOLUTION: Morpheme translation processing acquires a morpheme from a character string to be translated, as a sub-character string, searches a translation information table 400 which stores a key morpheme and an optimal translation word in association with each other, for a key morpheme perfectly matches the sub-character string, acquires an optimal translation word corresponding to the extracted key morpheme from the translation information table 400 when the key morpheme is extracted, searches the translation information table 400 for a key morpheme including the sub-character string when the key morpheme is not extracted, and acquires an optimal translation word corresponding to a key morpheme having the highest occurrence frequency in the extracted key morphemes when a plurality of key morphemes are extracted, from the translation information table 400, to output the acquired optimal translation word as a translation word for the sub-character string.</p> |
