<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external control type fan and clutch device of which size is small, weight is light and electrical energy is saved.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a fan and clutch device constituted such that a tight sealed unit housing supported by a rotary shaft having a driving disc with an oil reservoir chamber in it is provided with a torque transmission chamber having internally the driving disc, and a magnetic valve member (armature) for use in opening or closing an oil circulation hole arranged at a side wall surface of the oil reservoir chamber is operated by an electromagnet supported at the rotary shaft so that the oil reservoir chamber is controlled to be opened and closed, characterized in that a ring-shaped magnetic body for use in efficiently transmitting a magnetic flux of the electromagnet to the armature of the valve member is assembled between the electromagnet and the rotary shaft.</p> |
