<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional measuring device with a portal structure that can suppress an ABBE error accompanying attitude change in position relation of a measuring linear encoder and read a coordinate position of a gauge head with high precision.SOLUTION: A measuring device includes: a first carriage 12 which can move in a first axial direction along guides 14A-14D of a base 14; a second carriage 18 which can move in a second axial direction along guides for movement in the second axial direction; an auxiliary carriage 60 which can move in the first axial direction along the guides 14A-14D of the base 14; a first driving mechanism 40 which moves the auxiliary carriage 60 in the first axial direction; and a plurality of first transmission means of transmitting driving force for movement in the first axial direction by engaging the first carriage 12 with the auxiliary carriage 60. The plurality of first transmission means are arranged across the range of movement of the center of gravity of a first moving body which moves in the first axial direction, including the first and second carriages 12, 18, accompanying movement of the first and second carriages.</p> |
