PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite indicator for sterilization treatment detection which enables one indicator to confirm that a type of sterilization treatment is correctly selected and the correctly selected sterilization treatment is appropriately finished when executing high-pressure steam sterilization or hydrogen peroxide gas sterilization.SOLUTION: A composite indicator for sterilization treatment detection is formed by laminating a discoloration layer made of a moisture and thermal discoloring composition and a discoloration layer made of a hydrogen peroxide gas discoloring composition on a substrate in this order. In the composite indicator for the sterilization treatment detection, (1) the discoloration layer is made of the moisture and thermal discoloring composition which includes a bismuth compound and a sulfuric compound and (2) the discoloration layer is made of the hydrogen peroxide gas discoloring composition which includes at least one coloring matter selected from a group composed of an azo coloring matter, a methine coloring matter, a triarylmethane coloring matter and a thiazine coloring matter.
