Said signal processing device comprises a vehicle model unit which is designed to calculate, from the sensor signals of the wheel rotation speed sensor elements and the steering angle sensor elements, at least the speed along a first defined axis, the speed along a second defined axis and the rotation rate about a third defined axis.
