<p>The present invention relates to a vehicle controlling method and an apparatus therefor, and, more particularly, to a vehicle controlling method which controls to carry out a vehicle identification algorithm optimized to curved roads or slope roads, and an apparatus therefor. The vehicle controlling method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: receiving vehicle state information; determining whether or not the corresponding vehicle is on a curved road or a slope road from the vehicle state information; carrying out a process of identifying the vehicle on the curved road or the slope road, which is shown in an inputted image, according to the determination result; calculating a distance from the identified vehicle based on the vehicle identification process; and estimating a collision with the identified vehicle based on the calculated distance.</p> |
