<p>The present invention provides an apparatus and a method for monitoring the gas pressure of gas-insulated switchgear in a substation, wherein the apparatus detects the operating status of the gas-insulated switchgear, determines whether to generate an alarm including a simple alarm and a danger alarm, and displays the operating status and the simple and danger alarms on a screen, thereby preventing human errors and erroneous operation of a gas valve in a live wire region. The apparatus for monitoring the gas pressure of gas-insulated switchgear in a substation comprises: a detection part to detect the operating status of the gas-insulated switchgear; a determination part to determine whether to generate an alarm for the gas-insulated switchgear based on the operating status detected by the detection part and a reference value; and an output part to display the operating status of the gas-insulated switchgear on the screen based on the operating status detected by the detection part, and to display the generation of an alarm on the screen using a color corresponding to the level of the generated alarm, if the determination part determines to generate the alarm.</p> |
