PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of confirming a crystal form of a crystalline form 2 of 2-((R)-2-methylpyrrolidine-2-yl)-1H-benzimidazole-4-carboxamide (ABT-888) which is a poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitor, and manufacturing the same with good reproductivity.SOLUTION: There is provided ABT-888 having lattice parameter values a, b and c of 8.599ű0.002Å, 8.599ű0.002Å and 14.526ű0.006Å respectively, and α, &bgr; and γ values of 90°, 90° and 120° respectively when measured in a tetragonal crystal system by irradiation at 0.7107Å and a P32 space group at about -100°C. There is also provided a manufacturing method of ABT-888 by crystallization from a methanol solution. |
