PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved protective coating which protects a surface, particularly a coated surface, more sufficiently than an existing technique.SOLUTION: A surface protective coating composition is formed by mixing first and second components, where the first component comprises a dendritic polymer having a terminal functionality of about 32 to about 128, comprising a crosslinkable functional group; further an acrylic compound having a terminal functionality of about 2 to about 6 and comprising a crosslinkable functional group; plural metal oxide nanoparticles optionally covered with a polymer comprising a crosslinkable functional group and/or a fluoro surfactant comprising a crosslinkable functional group; a sterically hindered amine light stabilizer; a UV absorber; a crosslinking catalyst; and a first substantially anhydrous solvent, dissolving the substance or dispersing in the case of nanoparticles, and the second component comprises a crosslinking agent; and a second substantially anhydrous solvent which may be the same as or different from the first solvent. |
