SOLUTION: There is provided a stop line detection device that detects a stop line present on the road surface on which a moving body travels on the basis of photographed images obtained by photographing the direction of travel of the moving body. The stop line detection device detects, from the photographed images, a structure installed at a branch location where the traveling road surface on which the moving body travels branches to another traveling road surface and dividing a traveling road surface area and a non-traveling road surface area, and a long belt-like sign on the road extending in the width direction of the road, and detects a sign on the road present at a position distant from the position of the detected structure by a predetermined distance as a sign of a stop line on the road. !
