PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phrase learning environment for the in-sentence phrase memory fixing method which is highly convenient even at a public place or in a narrow place. ! SOLUTION: A control part 5 which makes a portable terminal computer execute a phrase learning program, presents a learner with one or more Japanese-English mixed sentences including an alphabetic word and Japanese phrase of a learning object stored in a storage part 6 using a touch panel 2 of the portable terminal, and then reads out, from the storage part 6, a semantic content of a learning object word contained in the Japanese-English mixed sentence and displays it on the touch panel 2. !
