PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of entire configuration data used for a configuration of a programmable circuit.SOLUTION: In a data processing apparatus processing configuration data on programmable logical elements that can be partially reconfigured, a comparison unit 1 compares the configuration data with each other. Each configuration data includes: a common circuit part data common to all configuration data; and characteristic circuit data different among the configuration data. An extraction unit 2 extracts the common circuit part data from the configuration data on the basis of a comparison result of the comparison unit 1. A deletion unit 3 deletes the common circuit part data extracted by the extraction unit 2 from the configuration data. In a nonvolatile memory storing therein the configuration data on the programmable logical elements, one common circuit part data common to all the configuration data is stored for all the configuration data, and the characteristic circuit data different among the configuration data is stored for each configuration data. |
