PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlight controller capable of appropriately preventing glare toward a front vehicle and ensuring a field of view of an own vehicle at a time of passing through a curved road.SOLUTION: A headlight controller automatically switching light distribution patterns of headlights 11 and 12 is provided. The headlights 11 and 12 each include a first light distribution pattern, a second light distribution pattern with an upward light distribution restricted, and a third light distribution pattern with a light distribution toward an opposite lane restricted. The headlight controller comprises: light distribution control means 30 switching over among the first to third light distribution patterns depending on a recognition result of other-vehicle recognition means 40 recognizing a light source of any other vehicle from an image picked up by imaging means; and curve discrimination means discriminating a degree of a curve in front of an own vehicle. The light distribution control means 30 switches the first light distribution pattern to the second light distribution pattern if the degree of the curve in front of the own vehicle is smaller than a first determination value, and switches over among the first to third light distribution patterns depending on the degree of the curve relative to a second determination value if the degree of the curve in front of the own vehicle is larger than the first determination value. |
