PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a programmable logic array using spin transfer torque magnetoresistive random access memory (STT-MRAM) technology.SOLUTION: The programmable logic array comprises: a first group of spin transfer torque magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) devices arranged in an array forming an input plane, and a second group of the MTJ devices arranged in a column forming an output plane, where the input plane and the output plane are combined to form a logic function on the basis of a resistive state of each MTJ device; and a sense amplifier coupled to the output plane configured to generate a binary output voltage on the basis of on a voltage level of the column.
