PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus that has a simple configuration, and can reliably perform wiping motion while maintaining positional relation between a recording head and a wiper even with the increased number of the recording heads forming a line head.SOLUTION: Wiping of ink ejection surfaces F of twelve recording heads 17a to 17c in total forming line heads can be carried out all at once in one operation by lifting up and down a substantially rectangular carriage 31 at which a plurality of wipers 35a to 35c are secured and a support frame 40 for supporting the carriage 31 by a lifting mechanism 50, and also by horizontally moving the carriage 31 relative to the support frame 40. |
