PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of safe and simple operation while protecting the privacy of an individual person.SOLUTION: A display device that is capable of communicating with a content distribution device via a network comprises: a user authentication unit that manages accounts related to a plurality of users, and creates user authentication information including at least one of the plurality of accounts to be authenticated by the content distribution device; a communication unit that transmits the user authentication information and content selection information to the content distribution device, and receives content information including content identification information that can uniquely identify content determined on the basis of the account included in the user authentication information from the content distribution device; a display unit that displays the content information received by the communication unit; and a selection operation unit that selects at least one content on the basis of the content information, and creates content selection information on the basis of content identification information on the selected content. |
