PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having excellent workability, enabling FPC or FFC to securely press the contacting part of a contact without damaging strength, specification, etc. of each part, and enabling a narrow pitch and a low profile. ! SOLUTION: The connector includes an elastic part 34 and a fulcrum part 32 disposed between the contacting part 22 and the connection part 24 of a contact 14. The contacting part 22, the elastic part 34, the fulcrum part 32 and the connection part 24 are formed in a substantially crank shape. The connector further includes a pressure reception part 20 extending from the elastic part 34 at a position opposite to the connection part 24, and also a pressing part 36 communicating with a slider 16 in the longitudinal direction.
