<p>A transmitter (552) wirelessly transmits information pertaining to a fastening state of a tongue (27) by using electric power generated by a power generator (551). Here, the power generator (551) is configured so as to generate the electric power in accordance with a movement of a passive member (50) that is caused by an operation pertaining to the fastening of the tongue (27). The electric power for the wireless transmission is based on the fastening operation of the tongue (27) that is reliably performed when wearing a seat belt. In addition, the power generator (551) is composed of a device that generates electric power by means of electromagnetic induction.
