PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, a program, an information management method, and an information processing system capable of facilitating operation of information stored in a storage location.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus for managing information stored in a storage location can attain the object by comprising: authentication management means managing first authentication information necessary for authenticating a client device that requests operation related to the information and second authentication information necessary for the storage location storing the information to make authentication by linking the first authentication information to the second authentication information; storage location monitoring means monitoring the information stored in the storage location using the second authentication information, and updating index information of the information stored in the storage location; and information management means creating a list of the information stored in the storage location using the index information of the information stored in the storage location, and providing the list to the client device.
