<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack of a laminate battery which can be easily assembled while reducing the number of components and in which battery expansion can be suppressed from the outside of the laminate battery by an exterior case, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: The battery pack comprises a laminate battery of which the outer form is a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape, and a tubular thin case of which the cross section is substantially rectangular. The laminate battery is formed by housing a power generation element and an electrolyte within an exterior film package and pulling a lead plate power-collected by the power generation element out of the exterior film package. The exterior film package is formed by mutually joining outer edges of laminated two laminate films. The tubular thin case houses the laminate battery therein. A center part of a longer-side surrounding wall of the tubular thin case is curved while protruding toward the laminate battery, such that a center part of the laminate battery is pressed and suppressed only by the tubular thin case. Thus, battery expansion can be surely suppressed from the outside of the laminate battery.</p> |
